You’ve heard me prattle on about this house, of course, as it has had some pretty fabulous and famous owners — even an FBI raid!
Originally a Dilbeck, Diane remodeled it to perfection and added the pool bath house and cabana. The corner lot is a whopping 2.273 acres on a pretty lake. Kids can fish there and turtles crawl around all over the verdant grass. The Andrus house is 7364 square feet with five bedrooms, five and a half baths, four car garage, game room, wine tasting room, media room, playroom, pool & pool house, 4 car garage, and safe room. The lake features a fountain and waterfall. The original asking back on June 26 was $3,999,000. The price was reduced to $3,700,000 and a little birdie told me it went for less.
Work is going on over there right now, behind the security gates, and the neighborhood hasn’t been this excited about a new neighbor moving in since Diane and Darryl. What is it about some homes that just attracts celebs like a moth to light – sports stars, CEOs, or professional ball players? This house is certainly one.
I will give you two guesses as to who his agent is: give up?
Allie Beth Allman!
We are sure glad Elvis signed on the dotted and hey, Texas rangers, don’t even use the “T” word here: you don’t get real estate: Elvis simply must keep this home for a few years to realize any appreciation.
Besides, we are already planning the next Neighborhood Bash… at his house!
