I think second homes DO make men more apt to cheat on their wives, as if they need any more excuses. Some get to be 50 and just cannot control themselves, like my ex. We had a second home in Aspen and a third in Santa Fe. While I was at one cleaning, getting repairs, etc. he was at the other one getting "cleaned" himself, if you know what I mean. When confronted, he didn't lie to me, he said he was a successful business man who had made a lot of money, had provided for me a good life, and could do what he damn well pleased. Then he started looking at homes in Sun Valley! I divorced him, but many women stay with men like these for the money or security. His girlfriend, by the way, knew full well he was married and had three sons. She even left her clothes and birth control pills behind as a little "ef you" to me, I guess. I used them to clean the commodes. I put the birth control pills in his morning coffee! (Not sure what it did to him, but made me feel great!) It's been four years now and I am very happy, have a great relationship with my sons, and am glad I said goodbye. I have the home in Aspen, he has Santa Fe and our family home remains on the market in Dallas. Sure the latest one is living there with him. This market is not so great for dumping real estate, but it's real easy to dump a crappy spouse!

Honey, it all starts with a Porsch. I swear and I am seeing more of them on the highways these days. If your middle aged husband buys a Porsch I guarantee you he is having an affair! We had two homes, then he got that damn car and started in with the young girls who thought he was hot stuff with his car. I have nothing against men OR WOMEN who like to play the field that are single, but once a man buys a porsch and starts cheating on the woman he made a vow to he is a worthless piece of crap. As for the women who allow themselves to be used like this – SNAP OUT OF IT. We are smarter than men, do not let yourself get in this pointless ultimately empty situation.
Just my two cents as a woman who has learned this the hard way.
