UPDATE: Here’s more on Bruce’s condition from the folks at MSNBC.com, where he also blogs.

Bruce Felps, a Dallas blogger and multi-media journalist —  he writes the East Dallas Times and contributes to the Morning News and MSNBC/DFW.com, apparently  suffered an aneurysm last week and is in a coma at Presby Dallas. Bruce wrote his first column for CandysDirt.com last week and we are so happy to have him on board. Details on his illness are on this Caring Bridge page, and we wish Bruce and his family a speedy recovery. I will try to slip in to see him at Presby. Hearts, prayers and love are with you, Bruce.

Candy Evans, founder and publisher of CandysDirt.com, is one of the nation’s leading real estate reporters.

Terrible news… Although I don't know him personally, his love for East Dallas and Animal Rescue groups is second to none. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family in this difficult time.

A great book to share with the family is My Stroke of Insight by Jill Bolty Taylor. A must read for everyone, especially by families dealing with brain damage. Prayers and thoughts are with Bruce and his family.
