Friday Four Hundred: Tudor on Velasco is Just About as Charming as Can Be

We started this week with a gorgeous Scott Carlson listing, so it’s fitting that we end it with another. This listing is so fresh that its paint is still drying! Scott says that it’s getting a little freshening up done inside, and there will be some new photos afterward. Until then, he was happy to share these shots with CandysDirt.com readers.

First, let’s talk about the exterior of this adorable Tudor in Lakewood, which is on the market for $429,000. The steep-pitched roof is just so cute. It really gives the exterior some drama, and it is such a boon for curb appeal. I especially love the treatment on the bricks, and how the stone and plank trim are all left very neutral. It’s so classic!

Seriously, how could you not have a smile on your face as you amble up the long front walk. It definitely shows off the size of the lot and the ample front yard. The front porch is nice and deep, and with some great hedges it feels both open and private. I love that the sellers have staged this as a place to relax, with a couple of Adirondack chairs in a conversation setting.

Inside you’ll find even more charm at 6467 Velasco. There’s 2,288 square feet including the sunroom at the back of the house, and I can’t wait to see what finishing touches the sellers put into this place. Of course, the fireplace is adorable, and the interiors are a perfect layout for a small family. I love the wood floors, too, which definitely add to the appeal of this beauty built in 1934. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a super cute kitchen.

If you want to take a closer look, Scott says this home will be open between 3 and 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29. I’m sure someone will snap it up!
