Have you waited until the last minute to get mom a gift she’ll love and remember? Of course you have. If you’re stuck on what to give your mom, consider tickets to the 40th anniversary Swiss Avenue Historic District Mother’s Day Home Tour this weekend.
This is such a spectacular event, and home tour chairs Kelly Gordon and Elizabeth Mast have pulled out all of the stops to celebrate Mother’s Day on Swiss Avenue this year. As part of the anniversary celebration, the home tour festivities kick off Friday evening with a candlelight self-guided home tour and “Southfork to Swiss” pre-party at the home of Sandy and Mike Haloub at 5020 Swiss Ave.
As always, the home tour and brunch will be on Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12. This year nibbles and drinks will be provided by Penne Pomodoro with music from the swinging Matt Tolentino Band at Savage Park. Classic cars will be on display, too, and vendors will have great local wares for you to peruse. A full listing of homes on this year’s tour can be found right here.
Tickets to the tour are $20 in advance, and brunch tickets are an additional $20 per person. You can buy tickets online on the Swiss Avenue Historic District website, or you can purchase them at the Lakewood Whole Foods or Talulah Belle.
