Don’t wait until the last minute to find a spot to sip your Sunday brunch mimosa (or bloody Mary, if that’s your thing) come May. I’m still on Hawaiian time and mixing Mai Tais. As you know, Hawaii is second home nirvana for the wealthiest of the wealthy. Last week, I got to experience two fabulous second home communities, one Kukio, near Kona, the other on Kaanapali Beach, on Maui. Trust me, you can not go wrong with either.

We may not have a beach in Dallas, but we do just a few hundred miles south at Cinnamon Shore…
It’s not huge, and it’s on the ground floor of a brand-spanking new condo about two seconds from the bridge over the dunes. I love me some Cinnamon Shore in Port Aransas, Texas!
